Lightweight Upper

The material used on the top half of the shoe is made to keep the overall weight of the product low. This means that it is easier to make quick powerful movements without any restraints from excess weight. The breathable material allows for a steady airflow in and out of the shoe, keeping feet cool and ventilated. Easy to lace up the foot and a padded tongue means finding a comfortable and secure fit is easy. The tongue is wider than normal to allow users to wear a support brace or strapping on the ankle. The strong material around the heel offers protection to it and the ankle, with the toes also having a thicker and stronger area for protection.

FluidRide Midsole

The midsole used contains ASICS' designed FluidRide, a twin-structure that makes the shoe more reactive and powerful. The materials used are particularly beneficial in offering rebound and as a result propulsion. Energy created from heavy impacts with the ground is transformed into rebound, aiding upward pushes to assist with movements. The midsole also uses a DuoMax Support System. This is a dual-density midsole system which is positioned to enhance support and stability to vulnerable parts of the foot. Another technology found in the midsole is SpEVA55 Lasting. This is a long-lasting EVA designed to give the material a soft but stable feel.

AHAR Outsole

The outer sole material uses AHAR, ASICS' high abrasion rubber. Able to withstand abuse from constant heavy impacts, the material also provides the shoe with solid grip and traction to the ground. This crucially helps with agile movements like take-offs, sudden braking and sharp changes of direction; movements that are needed to take advantage over opponents in court sports. The shoe also uses Trusstic Support System. This technology supports stable movements by reinforcing the middle part of the sole and preventing the shoe from twisting.
